About Atlas Professional Services

Based in Tampa, Fla., Atlas Professional Services provides IT support services to companies throughout Florida and the greater Tampa Bay area. They are a full-service IT partner and offer an extensive list of services to help businesses run optimally and efficiently. The company has been recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Tampa Bay by the Tampa Bay Business Journal and was named the Small Business of the Year by the Tampa Bay Chamber in 2019. 

Social Media Management 

I began working with Atlas Professional Services in 2017 in partnership with True Blue Communications. The organization signed on for a full media relations and content marketing program, including regular blogging and social media management. Through my partnership with True Blue, I manage Atlas’ social media and assist with the blog. 

When we started with Atlas, their LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter pages had around 200 followers each and posts received on average less than five engagements. 

“We had a lackluster following, and our content just wasn’t grabbing anyone’s attention,” said Kristin Johnson, Market Development Director at Atlas. 

My first order of business was running a competitive analysis of Atlas’ social media pages against its competitors. From there, I developed a content strategy that laid out the types of content we would be sharing – company news, employee spotlights, photos, etc. – as well as the frequency of posts. Social media graphics were also updated to reflect the company’s branding and provide consistency across all three social media platforms. 

“Kasey has done an excellent job of providing us variety for our posts,” said Kristin. “She is highly creative and always takes the time to do complete research so she can present our topics with the utmost credibility.” 

Increase in Followers, Engagement

In the first year working with Atlas, we increased their social media following by more than 30% across all three platforms with organic social media content. In addition, engagement ranged anywhere from 1,500 impressions a month to 6,000 impressions a month. 

Six years later, their LinkedIn page alone has gained more than 1,500 followers and monthly impressions start at around 3,000 post impressions. Social media pages are also driving traffic to the website. 

“Since working with Kasey and her team, our posts pop and generate much more traction with our followers,” said Kristin. “Our enhanced social media presence also drives traffic to our website, and if that helps us stay top of mind for someone who can refer us to a colleague or needs IT services, then those posts have done their job.”
